The Second Greatest Thing In The World
Check out these super-cool iPod Subway Maps -- with an iPod Photo (or any of the new color screen 'Pods), you can get cool maps of subway systems from all over the world loaded right on to your increasingly-more-like-a-PDA-everyday iPod!
The Greatest Thing in the World is, of course, the iPod itself. I took the plunge a couple of months ago, and my life has been filled with love ever since. What took me so long?

What You're Really Dying To Know
And I know I am dying to know this, too: more information about Finnish hockey legend (and Colin Campbell Network mainstay) Mikko Eloranta!
According to a poorly translated webpage, things aren't looking good for Finland's favorite son.
Rapperswils St?er Mikko Eloranta a heavy leg injury suffered approximately four weeks before the start to the NLA championship. The Finn separated in a test play in F?en (De) against Iserlohn (3:0) with a seeming and a calf leg break out (bert/Si)
Translating from "Babelfish German to English" to actual English can be quite a challenge, but the meaning here appears clear -- our boy Mikko has apparently snapped a fetlock. We can only hope Finnish tradition didn't dictate that he be humanely destroyed at Center Ice...
More hockey news forthcoming!

Odd Site of the Day
It's got to be the homepage of the Rachael Ray Sucks Community.
I mean, overexposed? Sure. A little too perky and over-excited? Yeah, sometimes. I miss early Rachael, who seemed a lot more, I don't know, balanced? I still think she's amazed that she turned out to be a TV star, and doesn't quite realize that you don't have to set the personality to "eleven" at all times.
But sucks? C'mon... Still, if you like your Internet websites served with a heaping helping of catty bitterness, and, of course, without any E.V.O.O., then this might be the site for you.
Rachael defenders, take heart -- this piece over at Slate gives your side of the story, a side I tend to agree with.

A Page for Everything
One of the cool things about the Internet is that there exists a page for anything, indeed, everything in our existence. Take, for example, this site dedicated to research into animal hoarding. Or, as a less-kind person might put it, a page dedicated to the scientific explanation of crazy cat ladies.
You're welcome!
